How to Reach the Destination from Colombo?

From Colombo, take the A4 southeast towards Ratnapura. Proceed on A4 through Balangoda through Belihuloya. When you reach Belihuloya town, the waterfall is just a few minutes away by car. How to Reach the Destination from Colombo?
By Personal Transport: There is 144.5 km from Colombo to Belihuloya. Take the Colombo – Batticaloa highway (A4) to get to Balihuloya from Colombo.
Public Transport: To reach Hawagala, you have several options for transportation. You can take a bus from the Colombo main bus stand to Balangoda, about 15 kilometres from Belihuloya. From Balangoda, you can continue your journey by taking a local bus or hiring a tuk-tuk to reach Hawagala. Alternatively, you can take a train from Colombo to either Haputale or Bandarawela and then you can take a bus to Belihuloya. Another option is to take a bus from Colombo to Badulla, get off at Belihuloya, and from there, either take a local bus heading towards Laduyaya or hire a tuk-tuk for easy transportation to the base of Hawagala.
Recommended Route: While the most common route is through Ratnapura, another scenic alternative is via the A4 Highway through the misty town of Haputale, offering mountain views, tea estates, and valleys.
